When you upload a floor plan to your property site, you can include hot spots on the floor plan. These hot spots, when clicked on, will take the viewer directly to the photos for that specific room. This will allow them to get an even better idea of the layout of the home and understand which photos belong to which room.
How to create floor plan hot spots
Click the steps below for a detailed walk-through:
Step 1: Click on Sites tab
Step 3: Click on Site Media tab
Step 4: Scroll to Floor Plans section
Step 5: Upload floor plan
Step 6: Click on uploaded floor plan
Step 7: Drag/drop hot spots onto floor plan
Step 8: Click arrow button when finished
Step-by-step:
Step 1: Click on the Sites tab at the top of the page and search for the property that you need to add a floor plan with hot spots to.
Step 2: Click on the property from the search results. This will take you to the Site Summary page.
Step 3: Click on the Site Media tab on the left-hand side of the page.
Step 4: Scroll down to the Floor Plans section.
Step 5: If you have not already uploaded your floor plan, click the "Upload a Floor Plan" button. Select the floor plan and begin the upload.
Step 6: Once the upload is complete, click on the floor plan image.
Step 7: On the right-hand side, you will see photo hot spots that have been created from the images that you uploaded into the Site Media page. Drag and drop a hot spot onto the floor plan for the corresponding room. Note: each hot spot can only be used once. When a hot spot is grayed out, that means it is already being used.
Step 8: Once you are done adding your hot spots, click the left or right arrow to be taken back to the Site Media page.
